This Policy Bulletin continues to allow schools that are designated as SBM the option to apply for waiver(s). SBM waivers can be used to make a number of improvements to a school site's learning culture. SBM schools have the option to waive collective bargaining agreements and/or District policy. Waivers can involve a variety of changes, such as staff selection, common planning time, and single councils.
