UTLA Employment Opportunities

United Teachers Los Angeles strives to create a spirit of teamwork that involves our elected Officers, Board of Directors, House of Representatives, Managers and employees who are represented by three collective bargaining groups. UTLA strives to develop a union that equally embodies collective action and accountability with personal growth and responsibility. Employment opportunities are extended first to the employees and our affiliates prior to the consideration of external applicants. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Our comprehensive benefits package is among the most attractive in our industry. We offer medical, dental, vision, life and income protection coverage for all full-time employees and their eligible dependents. We also offer paid time off for vacation, illness and holidays. UTLA also provides a retirement plan in the form of a Money Purchase Plan.
