OUR HEROES!
To underscore our message and forceful show of unity and determination, UTLA officers and members marched up LAUSD headquarters’ front steps and later sat down in the middle of the street where 39 members were arrested for an act of civil disobedience.

Because of your dedication and passion, UTLA’s message of no class size increases and no layoffs was heard throughout the city, state, and nation. All our activities received overwhelming media attention.

KEEP UP THE PRESSURE!
Los Angeles teachers and health and human services professionals are leading the fight for our students and communities! UTLA will keep on organizing and mobilizing to pressure the District until class size is maintained, our schools stabilized, and layoffs rescinded.
