Great Public Schools Now Director Speaks on Privatizing L.A. Public Schools

Director of Great Public Schools Now said the group has changed course and plans to give money to traditional schools to regard whether they are charter schools, higher, magnets or traditional schools. This is a public relation stunt done by Eli Broad and his friends said United Teachers Los Angeles President Alex Caputo-Pearl. Hhe underlined that at first glance this does not include any traditional schools and that the first four and a half-million dollars in grants will be split by charter school and Teach For America L.A., which places beginning teachers in charter in traditional schools and an after school program. Officials with great public schools now say they're meeting with the LAUSD superintendent in the coming weeks.
