California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP)/LA County Office of Education
The California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) is funded by the California Department of Education to promote effective use of technology in teaching, learning and school administration. CTAP is a regional technology assistance program that provides coordination and services in educational technology based upon local needs in each of the 11 regions in California. Region 11 provides educational technology leadership and assistance to the 81 school districts, 1,767 schools, 5,629 administrators and 77,054 teachers in Los Angeles County. The county is divided into 15 sub-regions or consortia. The Los Angeles County Office of Education uses the consortia structure to assist districts in the integration of technology into teaching and learning at the local level. For more information, contact Raymond Chavez, Director, CTAP Region 11, at 562-922-6216.
