A major change is coming to our schools. The LA school board is about to decide the future of 30 public schools, and the future
of our public schools is at stake.
That is why we are running a grassroots campaign
to support
the customized "teacher/parent school plans" over those presented
by outside operators. And when it comes to making the changes our schools need
-- it's
teachers and parents in the community who know best, not outsiders.

What is a local school teacher/parent plan?
- It ensures that your school will be open to ALL neighborhood children.
- It includes ALL students, including Special Education students and English
language learners.
- It is designed by teachers and parents who have worked for years in the
community, worked with students on a daily basis, and know their unique needs.
- It focuses on proven reforms that emphasize teaching and learning the critical thinking
and skills students need for success in college, work and beyond.
- It is a customized plan, written to meet our local student, school and community needs.
