Teachers and HHS professionals

UTLA is proud to represent the 35,000 public school teachers and health and human services professionals work in the over 800 LAUSD schools. Our union’s goal is to protect your professional interests and to make LAUSD a better place for teaching and learning.

UTLA has a long history as an activist union, in which members get directly involved,in a variety of different ways, to improve our schools. You can look forward to continued professional support from UTLA. See our Professional Development page for upcoming opportunities.
