UTLA Communications Director (11-09-21)


Plans, directs and supervises the comprehensive internal and external communications for United Teachers Los Angeles. This position serves to ensure the development, integration and implementation of a broad range of communications activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization, its members, and leadership.

The position is open until filled. First consideration will be given to applications received by December 10, 2021. Strategic Research Director (10-12-21)

The Strategic Research Director will manage a department with a primary focus on developing comprehensive and strategic research for UTLA campaigns. The research will support bargaining, communications, organizing, political action, and public policy analysis, along with any other tactical initiatives required for building the necessary power to support members, students, and communities. The breadth of responsibility will extend from support of broad city-wide organizing plans to school based rank-and-file member fights.
