Political & Community Organizing Director

Salary range: $7,000 to $9,000/month
UTLA is a union of 34,000 educators at over 900 school sites throughout Los Angeles. This position will help coordinate and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of UTLA political and community organizing campaigns across the union, along with UTLA efforts to shape policy and legislation related to public education and organized labor. This position will help coordinate and lead UTLA efforts in building relationships of accountability between our members, parents, community, and elected officials, with a focus on organizing and collective action.
