Resources for Health and Wellness
Please feel free to call the hotline numbers with any questions about the COVID-19 virus.
Students and families can call the mental health hotline for help to manage fear, anxiety and other challenges related to COVID-19. It is staffed by counselors and mental health professionals to provide support in both English and Spanish.
Teachers can also call and get advice on how to connect their students to services.

Research shows that Wellness and Mental Health are integral and important parts of a person’s wellbeing, stability, and overall success. The UTLA Student Health and Human Services professionals of which include Psychiatric Social Workers (PSW), Pupil Services & Attedance Counselors (PSA), School Psychologist, School Nurses, and other socio-emotional professionals have put together thoughtful resources and helpful tips to support our daily challenges and current environment. UTLA WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS--Social Wellness, Emotional Wellness, Spiritual Wellness, Environmental Wellness, Occupational Wellness, Intellectual Wellness, and Physical Wellness are dimensions of wellness that help us in the workplace.

Thursday, May 21
Today, parents, teachers and students from LAUSD public schools facing co-location will hold a car caravan to the houses of three board members of charter schools seeking to co-locate public schools for the 2020-21 school year. They are demanding that the charter school board members of Gabriella Charter School revoke their application for the $1.3 million loan and that all three charter companies do the right thing by prioritizing health and safety by revoking their applications to co-locate.
